L&N Partner Provides Social Security Disability Presentation to The Federal Bar Association

Recently, Lebau and Neuworth partner Richard Neuworth gave a presentation to the Federal Bar Association on several of the latest developments concerning Social Security disability law. The well-attended session covered three  topics, including the Administration’s new ethics rules governing the conduct of representatives appearing before the Administration in cases concerning disabilities and several recent Supreme Court decisions and their application to Social Security disability hearings.

The final -- and perhaps most important -- topic concerned both the evidentiary rules and approaches to cross-examining both vocational and medical experts.

The session will be re-broadcast at the end of June 2020 as Social Security Disability 101.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, Lebau and Neuworth is also pursuing COVID-19-related cases as part of claims for Social Security disability cases.

For further developments concerning Social Security disability law, contact the lawyers at Lebau and Neuworth, as the law frequently changes and the advice provided during the program does not necessarily apply to all individual situations.
