L&N has hired two new associates, Gregg H. Mosson, and Devan M. Wang. Gregg H. Mosson is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated in the top 10 of his class, where he was an associate comments editor on the school’s flagship Law Review. While at law school, Gregg served as a member of the Employment and Labor Law Trial Team, after serving as a litigation fellow at the Snyder Center for Litigation. He was a law scholar in contract law and civil procedure. In addition, Gregg was a Summer 2011 law clerk at the Baltimore City Law Department, working on employment litigation and regulatory matters; a Summer 2010 judicial intern with Chief Judge Duncan W. Keir of U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland; and research assistant for Professor Kimberly Brown in federal administrative law with a focus on Article II of the U.S. Constitution. Prior to law school, Gregg spent a decade as a professional writer and teacher and remains an active author. Originally from New York City, Gregg earned his BA in English from Portland State University and in 2003, moved to Maryland to earn a Master’s Degree from the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars on a teaching fellowship. In 2007, Gregg taught in the Baltimore City Public School System for a year as an English teaching resident. Gregg is the author of two books of poetry, and has read and presented at Towson University, Stevenson University, Johns Hopkins, Howard County Community College, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Gregg’s abiding interest in public policy has led him to work on three U.S. Senate elections (1996, 2000, 2012). His commentary on public policy has appeared in The Baltimore Sun, The Oregonian, and The Futurist. In law school, he researched and published two articles of legal scholarship in Western State University Law Review (forthcoming Spring 2013) and the University of Baltimore Law Review (2012). In law school, Devan M. Wang focused on disability and employment discrimination. During his 2010 summer Devan worked on various disability discrimination cases while interning with the Washington Lawyers’ Committee - Disability Rights Project. During his 2L academic year he remained at the Lawyers’ Committee, interning with their Equal Employment Opportunity Project where he focused primarily on Title VII violations. Devan was also a law clerk with Brown Goldstein & Levy during his 2011 summer where he worked on a range of legal issues including disability law, family law and contract law. Devan has also served as a student attorney with the Washington College of Law’s Disability Rights Clinic. As a student attorney he represented clients in special education issues arising under the IDEA, helping to develop and ensure the proper implementation of the students’ IEPs. In addition he served as Guardian Ad Litem, and helped resolve numerous issues with clients’ Social Security Disability benefits. Devan earned his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law and his B.A. in Psychology from University of Maryland Baltimore County.
