The U.S. Department of Justice has recently begun investigating two Lebau & Neuworth-filed cases of gender and race discrimination against public-sector employers based in Maryland.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has already determined that the Maryland employers did engage in unlawful race and gender discrimination. Under governing regulations, the EEOC then has the opportunity to elect to investigate the cases to determine if it will litigate on our client’s behalf.

Our clients, needless to say, are pleased with this positive development. Through hard work and uncovering key facts in the cases, Lebau & Neuworth lawyers were able to expose the discrimination for the EEOC. We hope the Department of Justice does the same.

If you think your employer has violated your rights, contact Lebau & Neuworth at (410) 296-3030 immediately. We will protect you.
